Baden-Baden Lebt Festival 2023

Our second event in June unfolded in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Baden-Baden: the Baden-Baden Lebt Festival. Our partner, Baden-Baden Events, created a new programme for young people together with the young Baden-Baden jazz musician Konstantin Kölmel.

The open-air festival presented a diverse mix of R&B, hip-hop and jazz. The mission: to promote cross-generational and intercultural connections through the wide range of music on offer. The location was an absolute highlight: right next to the Kurhaus, we transformed the newly remodelled Reinhard-Fieser-Brücke square into a festival site.

Our Responsibilities

Our entire team from Austria and Germany came to Baden-Baden, as we needed every single helping hand for the realisation. Together with Baden-Baden Events, we organised the first edition of this festival. Our team took care of the stage management, production and artist hospitality on site and in advance. And we managed the accreditation of the crew and artists with our accreditation tool KEENTIX.

In addition, we took the initiative to open our own bar and sell a selection of refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. Part of the revenue generated was donated directly to our partner Viva con Agua Austria, an organisation that campaigns for clean drinking water worldwide.

Friday

Rhythmic reverie with hip-hop

The festival kicked off on Friday with a bang: famous hip-hop artists such as Ski Aggu and Badchieff took centre stage and delivered performances that had the crowd cheering and dancing. The beats resounded through the city and attracted many residents and tourists.

Saturday

Jazzy Serenade

On Saturday, the focus was on the sounds of jazz. The stage welcomed legendary artists such as Max Mutzke and Thomas D., who mesmerised the audience with their melodies. The atmosphere turned into a paradise for jazz lovers and showed the versatility of the festival.

Sunday

Emerging pop talents take centre stage

On the final day of the festival, the focus was on the up-and-coming talents from the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. These promising newcomers brought a refreshing and alternative flavour to the event and delighted the audience with their performances.

We are delighted to have organised an event of this magnitude in Baden-Baden, a city famous for its elegance and charm. Thanks to Baden-Baden Events for their trust! The opening of the first day was particularly noteworthy, especially considering that there are only a limited number of events specifically aimed at young people in the city.
